we spent sunday doing touristy stuff - like visiting Zhou Enlai's Former Residence, which actually doubled as the CCP's office under KMT rule, and Sun Yat Sen's Former Residence. Quite interesting.

my camera failed me tho. so no pics till i get them from sam.

These residences were pretty near our house, but from there we took a 2hr+ walk to church, stopping a lot along the way of course... to explore interesting shops and roads, like Fen Yang Lu, which was some Music Street - lots of pianos and violins, cd shops etc.




Farewell dinner for K & C at Belagio's, near our house too, and look who we met - our Parliament Sec, Abdullah Tarmugi. He looks very chinese. (if you don't know who this is, don't worry, neither did i, much less recognise him!)

And then we went to Cabler again!!!! :)

we wanted to play some game and so I suggested Categories: where one person gives a category and everyone has to name something in that category until someone repeats or cannot think of one within a ~5sec limit.

i don't know why on earth i suggested this cos i really suck at it. i fell prey to all of kai and tim john's stupid categories in cambodia which resulted in me eating about half a happy pizza (the forfeit).
i tried to switch away a couple of times but the rest were hooked on it already...

all i can say is, for once, thank goodness for R!
by the end of the night he was probably the PIGGIESTPIGGY (or whatever's the longest pig term you can think of... we had to extend, the usual PIG was obviously not enough) around while i was second worse at a modest PIGGY or something.

all this doing nothing at work is addling my brain :( but yay i went to demand for smtg to do yesterday so now we have work again.
