last night we went bowling. it was fun and it made me happy.
watching the way sam bowled reminded me of when i first started and brought back all those wonderful memories of early yf days when we kept going to queenstown for 1.60 per game bowling and kfc :)
but nowadays it's just not the same anymore somehow. maybe it's the people... or just cos i was a lot younger then.
before that i was making my way home from ren min guang chang and took a different route to explore yet another area. along the way i was stopped by a little stray dog who was crunching on some bones in the middle of the pavement. i think it was a she but i'm not sure. anyway she was scrawny and drenched through from the rain and her tail was between her legs. every time a car or pedestrian came too close, she'd flinch and cower a bit and freeze her eating. poor thing. so i decided to stand by and watch over her to make sure she got to finish eating before something spooked her enough to make her run. so i just stood there and watched her and endured the stares of other ppl until she finished every scrap of her meal and trotted off happily.
surprisingly, i'm actually feeling rather stressed right now. more things are cropping up back home that i'm supposed to be overseeing and it's hard to check on things or get responses from others just via email. but then again i guess i shld also just learn to let go and trust other people to handle things. i think the guilt of being away is what's getting to me most. and while all the upcoming events are exciting, they're tiring too. i can't wait for the end of the year and handover... 2 years is no joke. but shhh not a whiff of this to my exco cos i'm hoping to psycho some of them to stand for re-elections too.
oh well i shall try to forget about it and enjoy huangshan this weekend. hopefully my old frisbee knee injury won't act up like it did earlier in the week and prevent me from completing the climb!
