i can play mahjong!!

you know how they say "go overseas... experience new things, learn new skills..."

my turn to steal from pam who stole from me. the photo i mean.

i don't think they were thinking of mahjong when they said that, but why not? *shrug*

thanks to mj-addict Pam's funky new wooden tiles, we've spent quite a few nights playing mj, starting with the night when we were marooned at home by the rain (the streets were flooded) and just ordered dinner in while playing.

as pam said fondly "mahjong's keeping my kids at home!"

hurhur.

but then the other night our downstairs neighbour came pounding on our door and berated us soundly for making too much noise every night! not just with mj but general fooling around and our frequent convulsions of laughter i guess.

and thanks to jes' cool blue guitar, the rest have been trying to learn to play the guitar too.

and i was concentrating very hard (guess what i was aiming for?).

prior to this we had our first complete family meal ever! japanese curry with rice.

usually only pam and jes and i eat at home so yest felt extra homely. pam and i cooked while the rest messed around with the guitar.
but anyway pam has blogged about it already so i shan't duplicate
plus this is a messy post cos i'm in a sian mood from the tedious work i'm doing which makes my eyes tired.

i have such funky housemates! :)
