His name was Mike
He lived under the bike
On the stair landing
Our neighbour tried to chase him away
But he refused and stayed all day
Without moving. we thought he’d die
So food for him we went to buy
Some say his owners moved away
And abandoned him to find his own way
But all he did was cower in the corner
And growl at all who made a friendly maneuver
He came on Friday and left today
The police came and took him away!
I hope we made his last weekend good
I still have half a pack of dog food.
