our last housemate is finally here. now with 4 people... just nice to take cab.. just nice to play cards... just nice to fill 2 rooms... just nice to pair off while walking :)

boss has been away a lot. mainly spend my time at work surfing, and emailing, especially now that The Siblings + 1 are coming this weekend. Going to go to the tailors, meet our aunt and uncle, and shop in the xiang yang market replacement. hope we find the cheap shopping so i can finally shop!!! have been resisting the urge all week.

had a spot of trouble with some registration we were supposed to do with the police. annoying because noone gave us instructions properly and the police themselves kept telling us different things or giving us incomplete information. but anyway it's more or less settled now and i guess we can just chalk it up as part of 'the china experience'.

last night we went out to the marvellous food street which had lots of yummy barbecued food. it's like newton or chomp chomp but no tables. we had spicy mutton and beef satay (the meat's a lot nicer and less processed than sg satay), bbq squid, some ice dessert thingy, bbq chicken wings, and fresh bbq oysters with plenty of garlic! absolutely scrumptious! and all that for about S$5!! *dance around in delight*

was absolutely stuffed after that and just went walking around, took silly photos along the way. shall put them up once i get them from pam.
