what's wrong with this pic?

didn't blog much last week cos i've been either busy or sick or both.
weekend got ruined by temperamental weather and the horrid flu bug.

got caught in a heavy downpour on saturday afternoon (but had good shopping after that :) and again at night (but had more gd shopping and dessert:)

spent sunday hounding down the tailor for my lost clothes and still have not gotten it back! such a pain. i'm fed up with calling them and chasing them for it already. i should just call the police.



the police here must be awfully busy. everyone seems to call on them a lot.


sam tried to go to the tailor below our house and he was embroiled in a commotion involving the police because a customer complained that a zip wasn't sewn on well.

then when she went down again after that, the tailor had locked himself out of his house and was trying to climb in through the window.

i can totally imagine this as a cartoon.


last night our downstairs neighbour complained that we were making too much noise again and called the police on us.


this morning i chalked up yet another new experience - going to the hospital. i was coughing pretty badly in the morning so my colleague told me to go see a doc. hospitals here are awfully systematic. got to snooze a bit since there was an awfully long queue for the docs even though there were about 6 clinics with 2 doctors in each. got prescribed a mix of western and chinese medicine. one of which is some pack of powder which i'm supposed to stir in water to drink. but it's from the tibetan medicine co. and has dubious ingredients like 螃蟹甲 and 马尿泡. what on earth is the latter? horse bladder? boiled horse urine?? ugh. i think i'll give it to pam "p she's sick too.


stupid stupid flu bug. and i was gonna go for frisbee today too. :( bummer
