will forever go down in the annals of our time in Shanghai as

the day we all didn't wake up.

by some amazing coincidence, or maybe even divine intervention, all 5 of us slept soundly only to awake to pam's alarmed cries of "guys, it's 9.15!"

wonderful. the work day had already started in all our various offices and there we were at home in our pyjamas.

so we called in sick.

and went off to enjoy a luxurious brunch.

bummed around the music street

slacked at home

yummy cheap dinner at Babela's

and ended off with drinks by the bund
not a bad use of our 9-5. (9-6 actually :[

and a good sick leave to take - i think pam's cry of 'it's 9.15!' shocked my flu away. i feel loads better now.

jes was so exhausted from our day of slacking that she conked out even before we got home.

[was shoved offline yesterday, cldn't connect at all. amazingly i somehow managed to solve it this morning all by myself! -pat on back- even the IT guy didn't manage to yesterday. and none of the sites are blocked! amazing.]
