liberation!

been feeling rather liberated after meeting all the deadlines, the last of which was tuesday's presentation!

today i sat in class wondering if my prof was going to come. she's seldom late. so maybe she just wasn't coming. and that wouldn't be surprising after what happened last week. i almost forgot about it.

so last week, there i was sitting in class with no prof in sight, when suddenly some guy at the back stands up and announces "prof says she isn't coming to class today! she'll conduct the class by email. please turn on your laptops and check mail now!"

so then i called W to tell her that if she wasn't on her way yet, she could just stay at home! and she went "!!! i'm already in a cab!" and then B rushes in and exclaims that he woke up late and rushed down in a cab! and then we check our mail and we see this...

"dear all, this is a virtual class because I missed my bus and there was no time for taxis. I apologize. However, this is a straightforward class today. Please get into groups of 3 around one laptop and read the slides..."

hahaha! my groupmates felt so cheated. so anyway we upped and scooted to the library instead, but we still stayed online for the lesson! it was surprisingly stressful because she was going pretty fast and kept posing questions to which we were all supposed to reply to and it was like virtual mayhem but quite interesting as well i thought! i actually talked more than usual. maybe she ought to do this more often.

all my classes are really strange this term. so many cancellations, field trips, and others. missing a bus is definitely... others.

but well, my prof was here today!
