it is good, sometimes, to not have plans and just be spontaneous.

i'd actually 'planned' to be even more spontaneous... with a list of 'spontaneous' options. but then a truer spirit of spontaneity came over me and i did something completely different. which turned out to be better than i expected so i guess i don't regret it.

*note to self and useful reminder to all: when meeting people that you don't always keep in touch with, remember not to mention the girlfriend/boyfriend until they mention them first. just in case things have changed since.
