A wedding present from Leicester

which i got to enjoy more than the bride and the groom :P

Over the past week, my uncle and aunt and my favourite cousin and his wife and two kids flew into town for the wedding, right after we got back fr klang!


This is my nephew, Nathan! also the wedding ring boy.

This is my new niece Lauren! Our first meeting! She's only 10 mths old.

"Want a cuddle?" - she was proffered all around.
she likes to crawl and put things in her mouth.
one night my sister and i were over at their place for dinner and in the midst of fighting with a prawn, i flicked some shell onto the ground.
i was frantically hunting for it to pick it up and my cousin assured me quite unperturbed, "oh don't worry. lauren will find it and eat it."

unfortunately, as babies are wont to do, she spent most of the trip sleeping. partly also cos she fell sick in HK on her way here.

This is Nathan and Sonya at the wedding rehearsal. One fair and rosy-cheeked, the other dark with curls... So cute! Although Nathan was practically dragging Sonya down the aisle...

Kangaroo feeding time at the zoo!

Adults will do anything to make children happy! A seven adult entourage traipsed around the zoo for 4 hrs just to make one and a half kids happy! 2 drivers, 2 doting grandparents, 1 charmed aunt, 2 indulgent parents who actually really like animals themselves so maybe they were the ones who wanted to go...
it was quite exhausting!

we also watched the elephant show and nathan hunted for the monkey who climbed up his shoulder the last time! he didn't find it though.

Nathan has an obsession with escalators.

So before he could leave, he went up and down the T3 escalator with every single person...

With any luck, i'll get to visit them in june! and nathan has already planned to take me to the New Walk Museum.

I bet it has escalators...
