i managed to find the -same- lady that i used to buy from 2 years ago in the same place!
(unfortunately I already finished one on the train ride home. The Memory Keeper's Daughter - it's pretty good. but a rather emo kind of novel... rather similar to jodi picoult's books. with so many books, i'll probably have to give them away to visitors... i hope this stash lasts me long enough.)
after the depressingly boring first weekend in Hefei(going to a cooking class and getting nice furry cheap imitation UGG boots was the most exciting thing i did!!), i needed to balance it with a good weekend in SH. now i guess i'm ready to settle for quiet weekends of massages, facials, manicures, gymming, and photo walks...
