my dad is more funky than me

he has a new cute little ipod nano, and i'm still using my old fm radio.

AND he's already filled it with almost 2G of stuff! i don't think i even have 2G of stuff!
apparently most of it is photos cos "when i have nothing to do i can look at my photos!"
that's funny. i don't know why, but that's funny. haha.

it's supposed to be for him to use when he's travelling in ulu areas which are too bumpy for reading and so i get to use it when he's not away... but it doesn't look like there's gonna be much space left for me! :(


anddddd... my mum is young and trendy.
she came back from the hairdresser's and said "see my hair!"
it was brown! but my mum's against dyeing hair!
"oh it's henna-ed"
"huh??" isn't that for painting patterns on your body...
"henna! it's a natural dye so it won't kill your hair like all those chemicals!" she told me gleefully.
OkaY...

my not being at home much in the last week seems to have made my parents 20 years younger.

and made my grandmother 80 yrs younger.

when she learnt that my parents were going away this weekend without her, she was crestfallen. (she loves travelling but it's not convenient for her to do so)

then when my mum went over in the afternoon, she came out of her room from taking a nap and told her:
"i dreamt that you said i couldn't go with you so i packed all my clothes in a bag and hid in your car boot!"

what's the world coming to these days... parents don't act like parents (that's good!!) and grandparents don't act like grandparents...
