How To Have a SATC Day

1. Get a crash course on who's who and what's been going on - cos some of us are suaku and don't follow the show

2. Watch the episode of SATC where Carrie goes to the New York Trapeze School.

3. Watch the movie! - it was a good girly movie :)

4. Go for a class at the New York Trapeze School!

Awesome experience! I can't believe the rest were to chicken to go with me :(

I chose the outdoor location which was situated on top of a pier along the hudson river so when you're up on the trapeze platform you have a great view of the river as well as the brooklyn/manhattan cityscape!

The class itself makes you dive right into the trapeze tricks. You swing, kick your legs up to hang by your knees, and then do a backward somersault descent! The first jump was the scariest but it was exciting and after that i figured i wouldn't be scared of any of the rides at 6 Flags the next day (and true enough i went on every single rollercoaster possible but unfortunately just as we were queuing for the tallest rollercoaster in the world which is practically a vertical ride up and down, it was closed temporarily for a technical fix and then the park started to close. :( anyway who knows i might have chickened out while queuing.)
